Your data, explained clearly.

1. Overview and scope

Easy Translator helps you find curated phrases included with the app in English, Spanish, French and Simplified Chinese. Core phrase search and category browsing are designed to work without sending the phrase query to an online translation service.

This policy covers information handled by the app. It also explains the boundaries between the app and Android system features, third-party advertising services, a selected text-to-speech engine, a sharing destination, or a web browser.

No account is required. The app does not provide cloud synchronization for favorites or history.

2. Information stored locally

The following information is stored on your device so the app can provide its core features:

• Favorites: identifiers for phrases you choose to favorite.
• History: identifiers and recent timestamps for curated phrase results you open.
• Settings: your confirmed interface language, confirmed theme, and recent source/target language direction.
• Temporary input state: a short phrase query may remain in the app while you continue or return to the task.

This local information is not used to create an account and is not synchronized by Easy Translator to a developer-operated server. You can remove favorites, delete individual history items, clear history, or remove the app and its local data through Android.

3. Android and external service boundaries

Clipboard

When you choose Paste, the app reads the clipboard content you selected through Android and uses it as the phrase query. When you choose Copy, the selected phrase is written to the system clipboard. Other apps or the operating system may be able to access clipboard content according to Android controls.

Sharing

When you choose Share, the app sends the phrase you selected to the Android Sharesheet. The app or service you choose as the destination receives that content and handles it under its own terms and privacy practices.

Text-to-speech

When you choose Speak, the app requests playback through an installed Android text-to-speech service and selects a voice reported as locally available without a network requirement. The selected text-to-speech provider is separate from Easy Translator and is governed by that provider’s settings and privacy practices.

Browser

When you open the Privacy Policy from the app, Android opens a web browser. The browser and network provider may process ordinary web-request data, including an IP address and browser information, under their own policies. Easy Translator does not embed a browser in the core phrase flow.

4. Advertising and third-party processing

Easy Translator is a free, ad-supported app. Third-party advertising services deliver, measure, limit, personalize where permitted, and protect ads shown in the app.

Those advertising services process information such as:

• device and app information, including operating-system version, device type, app version, language and coarse technical configuration;
• advertising identifiers or other resettable identifiers available under Android and consent settings;
• IP address and coarse location inferred from the IP address;
• ad impressions, clicks, interaction timestamps and frequency information;
• diagnostic, fraud-prevention and security signals; and
• consent choices and signals used to respect applicable advertising and privacy requirements.

Third-party advertising services act under their own privacy terms and retention practices. They may combine advertising information with other information available to them as permitted by law and your device or consent choices. Easy Translator does not use your saved phrases or phrase history to build an advertising profile.

5. Retention and deletion

Favorites remain on the device until you remove them or uninstall the app. History remains until you delete individual entries, clear history, or uninstall the app. Confirmed settings remain until you change them, clear the app’s storage, or uninstall the app.

Advertising data is retained by third-party advertising services according to their own legal obligations, operational needs and privacy terms. Messages you send to the support email are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to answer the request, maintain support records, protect users and the service, or meet legal obligations.

6. Security

The app limits the core phrase experience to built-in data and local storage. Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used for information under our control. No storage or transmission method can be guaranteed completely secure. Security for device storage, the clipboard, sharing targets, text-to-speech services, browsers and advertising services also depends on Android, your device configuration and those third parties.

7. Children’s privacy

Easy Translator is a general-audience travel and everyday phrase utility and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly request a child’s name, contact details or account information through the app. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support request, contact us so the information can be reviewed and deleted where appropriate.

8. Your choices

• Remove individual favorites and history entries inside the app.
• Clear all phrase history using the app’s confirmation flow.
• Clear app storage or uninstall the app through Android to remove local app data.
• Choose whether to paste clipboard content, share a phrase, play speech, or open the browser.
• Use Android privacy and advertising controls to manage consent, ad personalization, and resettable advertising identifiers where available.
• Change the app’s confirmed interface language and theme at any time.

Advertising choices can affect ad personalization, but the app remains ad-supported.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the app, advertising services, legal requirements or privacy practices. The revised policy will show a new effective date. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate in-app or store notice when required.
